Today I just want to reminisce about things me and my beloved friends did last year. We always had wanted to go travelling together. We talked about it, a lot. But in the end, we ended up only talking about it without some conscience to make it REAL. After some talking and always resulted with zero, a few of us took real action. We went to the railway station to get our cheapest roundtrip ticket to Yogyakarta (Jogja). We bought it so we didn’t have any reason to back off. Yeah, we need some cruel way to make our Valentine getaway did come true. Then, the journey began…
Seven of us went first trip Jakarta-Jogja at night (another one would catch up the next day, so in total there were eight of us). It was ten hours trip, more or less. We all were woman. So yeah, no male guardian. We only equipped ourselves with hard shoes in case we needed to kick or stepped on some suspicious people and some ruthless glare if someone decided to toy with us. Fortunately, at the time we arrived and stepped out of the train, we didn’t need to kick or glare.
We arranged our travelling as backpacker. That said, we were pretty much tight up with budgeting. That was why our destination was Jogja, the most favorite destination for backpacker because it’s cheap! We, of course, had planned places we wanted to go sightseeing. In 4 days and 3 nights, we practically didn’t want to waste much time because at that time we were busy with our internship and final assignment, and we didn’t know when would there be any chance for eight of us to go travelling together in the future. We went to the known places in Jogja, like Keraton, Alun-Alun, Taman Sari, Goa Pindul, Candi Prambanan, and of course, beach! There were some places we visited but let me remind you that I had this kind of short term memory, so I forgot some of it.
Today. A year ago. I miss you guys! And today, I just wanted to tell you that I love you to the moon and back! ♥♥♥
And for all of you, Happy Valentine! Spread love, today, tomorrow, and forever! As for Indonesia is suffering from unfortunate event in Gunung Kelud, East Java, right now, people said that love conquers all. Hope this event proves to be one. Be safe people. My prayer be with you.
